Images of the historic march across the Golden Gate Bridge where thousands rallied peacefully against racial injustice.
On Saturday June 6, 2020 the Golden Gate Bridge set the stage for a massive peaceful demonstration where thousands marched across the bridge to protest police brutality and racial injustice in support of the Black Lives Matter movement. The event was organized by Tiana Day, 17, and her father Tiayadi Day of San Ramon. The northbound part of the bridge looked like a parking lot with protesters zigzagging in between cars in San Francisco’s most photographed landmark. Cars honked in support of protesters who chanted “no justice, no peace, no racist ass police”.
