The Irish folk musician has journeyed far in both distance and experiences since his start on a farm 67 years ago in the rural village of Beagh, County Galway in Ireland to release his new upcoming solo album, “Great Highway,” that debuts live at the historic independent Balboa Theater in the Outer Richmond on Oct. 7.

Restrictions on cultural and arts institutional activities during the pandemic severely curtailed the gathering of people for concerts, shows, exhibitions, and eliminated all types of indoor programming like music classes, drama, theatre and dance instruction.
The United Irish Cultural Center of San Francisco (UICC) submitted plans to the San Francisco Planning Department for a new six-story building to replace its current home. Fundraising has begun for the $65 million project.
