Our next community meeting will be on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m., at the Taraval Police Station, located at 2345 24th Ave. Parking is limited so please try to carpool or get a ride. We would love to have you attend and express any concerns that you may have.
Updates from Capt. Robert Yick, commanding officer at the Taraval Police Station.
On Aug. 7, National Night Out will be taking place throughout the country and each police district will have a venue. It is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer.
If you are a victim, please remain calm and immediately dial 911. Tell the dispatcher
what happened and provide the best description possible. Language assistance is always
available, and please remember: “If you see something, say something.”
Yick took command of Taraval Station from Capt. Denise Flaherty, who was transferred
to an administrative position at the SF Police Academy.
