The Mix at the SF Public Library’s Main Branch is an innovative, youth-designed, 21st century teen learning space, and
now it has newly expanded hours.
A rundown of recent police activities in the Sunset District.
The SF Maritime National Historical Park will host a free Junior Ranger Day event on Saturday, April 15, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.,
geared toward children ages 5- 12 and their families.
District 4 Supervisor Katy Tang announced the launch of the Resilient Sunset Emergency Supply Bin Pilot Program in March, a part of the Resilient Sunset emergency preparedness effort.
Every Saturday, from 2-4 p.m., and Fridays, from 4-5 p.m., a member of the
Sunset Branch Library’s Teen Computer Corps is available to answer patrons’
questions about e-mail, lap-top computers, tablets, cell phones, digital cameras,
electronic gadgets and the Internet.
“Under the SFPark pilot program, we adjusted rates block by block and by
time of day. And what we saw is that prices fluctuated pretty significantly,”
