The San Francisco Village (SFV) had a grand opening of its new home, an

NPS scuttles dog management plan
The National Park Service (NPS) announced in October that it has permanently ended a
planning and rulemaking process intended to establish new regulations related to dog
management at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA).
GG Park getting new restroom
The SF Recreation and Park Department is about to start construction on a new free-
standing restroom at Golden Gate Park’s Boat Playground, which is located near 45th
Avenue and Lincoln Way.
Final plan for Eighth Avenue presented to public

The SF Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) presented to the public on Oct. 18 its
final plan to ease traffic on Eighth Avenue, between Lake and Fulton streets in the Inner
Richmond District.
Evolving with the times

The CYC was established to provide youths with alternatives and access to legitimate

More than 15 San Francisco neighborhoods could burn to the ground due to a lack of water at the SF Fire Department ’s (SFFD) disposal after a major earthquake.
Transportation Madness
Whether it’s the Geary Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), or the L Taraval streetcar line, the public
and local merchants are ignored as being minor disruptions to the agency’s self-proclaimed higher ideals.
Former Convent Converted to Housing
While the housing crisis in the City has been a dilemma for families, it has also been an
issue for colleges and universities as well, including the University of
San Francisco (USF).
