San Francisco’s largest fenced dog park will re-opened following a $2.4 million renovation that includes separate areas where big and small dogs can safely frolic, natural elements to climb and jump, and a new surface to run and play, the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department announced.
The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department will throw local canines a special treat: $2.7 million from state coffers to renovate the dog exercise area in Golden Gate Park.
An off-leash dog walking area in Golden Gate Park, west of Spreckels Lake and near the
intersection of Fulton Street and 40th Avenue, is slated for a $2 million makeover
sometime this year.
