Editor:
I just read the article. This folly has been an eyesore and decaying for way too long. Whatever historic value is probably long gone and it’s time for it to go. The incompetent developers should go in the process. Hollow promises have yielded a big zero for the neighborhood.
The City needs to exercise eminent domain and put this site to better use. An ideal opportunity to build truly affordable housing for rent, not for sale. I have lived in the neighborhood for over 60 years and have seen a rapid decay and mismanagement of the City grow. It is truly a sad state of affairs.
