Below: The same view 90 years later shows plenty of changes. The railway is gone as is the corner gas station, which was replaced by an apartment building. Down the center of Lincoln Way is a narrow median, all the parking spots are full and the trees in Golden Gate Park have matured. Photo taken on Nov. 29, 2022. Photo by Michael Durand.
