Hello, Larry:
We get the information for the Police Blotter column from the SFPD and it usually doesn’t include descriptions. On the rare occasions they do, it is often too vague to be helpful.
Thank you. Editor.

Very disappointed that SFPD sometimes don’t seem to do what should be basic parts of their job. In this case not providing suspect descriptions for serious crimes when such descriptions must be available based on the descriptions of the crimes and the referencing of victims and witnesses.

i think nobody appreciates all that the officers do for us. They put their life on the line every day when they go to work. Every single time they get a call or pull someone over, they don’t know exactly what kind of crazy people they’re going to have to deal with. And how terrible it would be to have to go to work every day knowing that wherever you go to protect and serve people, everybody hates you!! I am so thankful for all the men and women who are on the police force and I am so disgusted with people trying to defund them and saying they use too much force against our black community. That’sall just a bunch of B.S. If you look at the crime statistics most of the criminals are black. I’m not making it up and I’m not prejudice its a fact.
Anyways…..Thank you, all you officers for trying to do your best for us, I for one am glad to have a police dept. I can’t imagine how we could all survive without the police.
