Recovered Stolen Vehicle, Hit and Run, Firearm Possesion: Masonic and Presidio Avenues, July 19, 11:11 a.m.
A hit-and-run collision occurred with two suspects fleeing from the scene on foot and leaving the vehicle behind.
A records check revealed the vehicle was reported stolen out of Fremont and was related to an armed robbery and kidnapping. The vehicle also matched the description of a vehicle associated with auto break-ins in Golden Gate Park.
An inventory search of the vehicle revealed a firearm sticking out from between the center console and the driver’s seat.
The investigation is ongoing. The suspects are still outstanding.
DUI Collision: Fulton Street and Ninth Avenue, July 31, 12:13 p.m.
A hit-and-run collision occurred on the 800 block of Arguello Boulevard. Just minutes later a collision occurred at Fulton Street and Ninth Avenue involving three vehicles.
The driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene on foot. Officers located the driver with the help of directions from witnesses.
The driver was unresponsive and smelled strongly of alcohol. Medical attention was summoned for all parties.
An investigation determined the two collisions were caused by the same driver, who had fled both scenes.
The driver was arrested and booked at County Jail.
Assault: Fulton Street and Arguello Boulevard, August 20, 2:02 a.m.
Officers responded to a call regarding a stabbing. Officers arrived on scene and located one subject with multiple stab wounds to his torso. Officers rendered aid to the subject. SFPD Richmond Units located a second subject with stab wounds at Fulton Street and Arguello Boulevard.
During the initial investigation, officers determined that the two stabbings were related and the subjects sustained their injuries from the same incident. Pending video review and evidence, the investigation is ongoing to confirm who the primary aggressor was during the incident.
Robbery: 3400 Block of California Street, August 29, 3:57 p.m.
The Suspect entered the store and placed just over two thousand dollars worth of merchandise in a bag and then fled the store without paying. Loss Prevention Security Officers attempted to stop the Suspect and the Suspect fought back to escape. The Suspect attempted to punch Security in the face, then bit Security on the arm, and fled on a muni bus.
Officers located the Suspect on the bus and placed him under arrest. A records check revealed the Suspect was on probation for Grand Theft and had a Warrant for his arrest for Vandalism.
The Suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
