During this pandemic, I thought I’d share some positivity happening in the Richmond District! While strolling toward 23rd Avenue (“slow street”) this warm and sunny afternoon, I slowed down at the sight of Lindsay spinning her pottery wheel outside her studio at 5851 Geary Blvd. Check out attached photo! She also has several completed ceramic pieces on display for inspiration inside her community studio.
I learned from Lindsay that her Brick and Mortar Studios is a community-funded, woman owned and operated ceramics arts studio that opened this month, plus in-person, hands-on classes (bye to Zoom school!) open to the public starting Sept. 6! This news would be wonderful to share with Richmond Review readers.

Thanks, from an appreciative Richmond Review reader,
Carmen Lee
