Transverse Drive Closures Beginning August 16

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) has an upcoming pipe installation project that is set to begin on Monday, August 16, which would close Transverse Drive in Golden Gate Park from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Transverse Drive will be open daily after work hours and on weekends. Note that there will be low impact work on Transverse Drive prior to the start date that will make this a one lane road to through traffic in the work area. The Transverse Drive pipeline installation traffic impacts are below:

• August 16 to 18: Vehicle access north Transverse Dr. (Southbound Crossover Dr. to JFK Dr.) is restricted

• August 19 to 20: Vehicle access south Transverse Dr. (Northbound Transverse Dr. to JFK Dr.) is restricted

• August 23 to 26: Vehicle access south Transverse Dr. (Northbound Middle Dr. to JFK Dr.) is restricted

• August 27: Vehicle access south Transverse Dr. (Northbound/Southbound on intersection of Middle Dr. and Transverse Dr.) is restricted
