Congratulations to Dr. Sarah Flynn for completing her medical residency in May, and beginning her Chief year at the VA.

CONGRATULATIONS MR. JAMES W. CHOW!

Mr. James W. Chow, a longtime Richmond District resident, reached his 100th birthday on this earth on May 12 with the comment that the keys to his longevity are:  hard work, exercise, eggs, oatmeal, reading the newspapers, and “talking with people!” His nickname in school was Gabby. 

Mayor London Breed and the SF Board of Supervisors  (via Supervisor Connie Chan’s resolution) , issued proclamations declaring May 12, 2021 as James W. Chow Day throughout San Francisco. Read more at http://www.RichmondSunsetNews.com.

KRONOS FESTIVAL KICKOFF

Free music in Golden Gate Park. McEvoy Foundation for the Arts joins forces with the Kronos Performing Arts Association to present Ellen Reid SOUNDWALK, a unique self-guided, musical experience in Golden Gate Park, launching as part of the 2021 Kronos Festival (June 11-18). SUMMER CONCERTS RETURN TO STERN GROVE

The 84th annual outdoor music festival resumes. June 20 – Aug. 29. Online reservations required (pods of 4-6 people). Seating will be limited for the first few concerts.
