The victim was in his garage when he heard a noise and saw a tool being shoved through the mail slot. The victim turned on the lights and the suspect fled.
Officers located the suspect a short distance away. A records check of the suspect revealed he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest related to burglary.
A search of the suspect revealed suspected methamphetamine and burglary tools.
The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
Outstanding Warrant, Carrying a Concealed Weapon: 25th Avenue and West Clay Street, April 24, 5:30 p.m.
The victim saw the suspect in his front yard peering in windows and taking pictures. The victim took a photo of the suspect then called police.
Officers arrived and detained the suspect for further investigation. The suspect gave officers a false name. Officers were able to positively identify the suspect, and it was revealed he had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation.
A search of the suspect revealed a six-inch stabbing instrument, concealed in the inner liner of his jacket.
The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
Outstanding Warrant: 2900 Block of Clement Street, May 8, 5:40 p.m.
Officers responded to a call regarding a suspect yelling at the store owner and stealing items.
Officers located the suspect who immediately attempted to flee. Officers detained the suspect a short distance away.
A records check revealed the suspect had a warrant for his arrest out of San Mateo County.
The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
DUI: 24th Avenue and Clement Street, May 15, 12:13 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of a traffic collision. A vehicle had collided into a parked vehicle.
Officers located the driver who showed objective signs of intoxication.
Field sobriety tests were administered, and a breath test revealed the driver was over the legal limit.
The driver was arrested and booked at County Jail.
