From the Alzheimers Association:
Do you know someone – friends or family members – affected by Alzheimer’s? Is volunteering on your to-do list for 2021?
If the answer to one of these questions is YES, please consider volunteering for the Alzheimer’s Association, the leading voluntary health organization in dementia care, support, advocacy and research.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s, its largest annual fundraising event, is looking for planning committee members. Whether you have two hours a month or 10, they have something that will fit your schedule!
There are many ways to use your interests and skills to advance the organization’s mission. You could join the logistics subcommittee or help with the advocacy efforts, assist with outreach, or commit to making calls to team captains.
If you are interested, please contact the Alzheimer’s Association at sfwalk@alz.org.
