Stolen Vehicle Recovered: Clay and Spruce Streets, Nov. 13, 5:01 a.m.
Officers observed a vehicle make an unusual sudden turn as they approached in a patrol car. Officers ran a records check of the license plate which revealed the vehicle was stolen.
Officers followed the vehicle, and when back-up arrived, conducted a felony stop without incident. The two suspects in the vehicle were detained.
A records check revealed suspect two had four warrants for her arrest out of three different counties for narcotics-related charges. A search of suspect two revealed suspected narcotics.
Both suspects were arrested and booked at County Jail.
Theft from Locked Vehicle: 800 Block of 35th Avenue, Dec. 2, 6:30 a.m.
The victim heard glass shatter and his car alarm go off. The victim went outside and attempted to confront the suspect who then fled from the scene.
The victim followed the suspect for a short distance and pointed arriving officers to the suspect’s last direction of travel. Officers located the suspect peering into another vehicle, a common tactic used by auto burglars, and detained the suspect for further investigation.
The victim positively identified the suspect.
A records check revealed the suspect was on probation in San Francisco county for aggravated assault and post community release supervision (PCRS) in Contra Costa County for Robbery.
A search of the suspect revealed a window punch (common burglary tool) and shards of glass on his clothing.
The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
Bank Robbery with a Gun: Sixth Avenue and Clement Street, Dec. 1, 9:25 a.m.
The suspect entered the bank stating he needed to cash a check. The suspect was at a teller window when he lifted his shirt, exposing the handle of a black handgun, and stated: “Give me all your money!”
The suspect then collected the money and fled the scene. Richmond Station officers disseminated information about the suspect to additional units.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., units near Civic Center located and apprehended the suspect. The suspect was in possession of a replica firearm.
The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
Vehicle Burglary Arrest: 4300 Block of California Street, Dec. 8, 3:50 a.m.
A witness heard glass break, looked out his window, and saw the suspect reach into a vehicle and remove a bag. The suspect then fled the scene.
Officers located the suspect a short distance away.
The witness positively identified the suspect. A search of the suspect revealed the victim’s stolen property, burglary tools and shards of glass. The victim positively identified her stolen property found in the possession of the suspect.
A records check revealed the suspect had a felony no-bail warrant out of San Francisco for his arrest.
The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
Outstanding Warrant: 2400 Block of Clement Street, Dec. 13, 7:21 p.m.
Officers responded to a medical call to assist medics with scene safety. Medics advised officers they had seen handguns on the scene and the suspect was attempting to retrieve the bag containing the guns.
Officers detained the suspect without incident. The suspect stated the handguns were BB guns and he wanted the bag they were in because it contained his drug paraphernalia.
A records check of the suspect revealed he had a warrant out of San Mateo County for his arrest.
The handguns were determined to be BB guns.
The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
