I have lived in the Richmond District for 17 years. For the last 10 months I have been employed at Standard Plumbing Ace Hardware on Clement Street. Yesterday afternoon I was punched in the face and pushed to the ground by two men who were attacking my manager over their not wearing masks properly.
It was a little of an all-out brawl that moved into the small parking lot out front and was witnessed by many startled customers. The police were called (case # 200543367) and I ended up going to the Kaiser emergency room by SFFD ambulance. There I received stitches in my cheek and scalp and was also diagnosed with a sore back from being tackled and pushed to the ground.
I have always loved your publication and it’s police blotter section so I thought you might find this of possible interest. Thank you and please continue your valuable local reporting.
