Police Blotter — Richmond Review

Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Burglary Tools: 6100 Block of Fulton Street, March 25, 11:43 p.m.

Officers responded to an audible alarm and an open door at a senior center. A perimeter was set and a search was conducted. An officer spotted and detained the suspect as he exited the rear of the building.

The suspect was in possession of tools and keys reported stolen from SF Recreation and Parks Department.

The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.

Robbery and Elder Abuse: 5400 Block of Geary Boulevard, April 4, 2:50 p.m.

The victim was at an ATM withdrawing money when she heard the suspect say: “Give me your money or I’ll take it from you!” 

The victim quickly placed the money in her wallet and into her shopping bag. As she tried to leave, the suspect reached into her bag and took her wallet. The victim said she was so afraid she did not try to stop the suspect.

Officers arrived and located the suspect and the wallet a short distance away.

The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.

Robbery with a Weapon, Aggravated Assault, Possession of Stolen Property: 6100 Block of Fulton Street, April 5, 3:05 p.m.

The victim and the suspect both sat in the bus shelter when the suspect became agitated and irate. 

The suspect began yelling at the victim, pulled out a sharp object and chased the victim. The suspect struck the victim with the sharp object several times and stole the victim’s backpack.

Officers arrived and located the suspect and the backpack.

The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.

Robbery, Conspiracy, Possession of Stolen Property: 1100 Block of Lake Street, April 19, 11:20 p.m.

The victim was approached by two suspects who demanded his property. 

One of the suspects held a knife to the victim’s torso and took his cell phone and wallet. The suspects then fled in a yellow and green sedan.

Dispatchers broadcast the description of the suspect and the vehicle citywide and Tenderloin units advised the description matched that of a robbery that occurred in the Tenderloin just prior.

Richmond units located the suspect’s vehicle and conducted a felony stop.

Officers located the victim’s stolen phone and wallet, stolen property related to the Tenderloin robbery and stolen property related to an Ingleside burglary.

Four suspects were arrested and booked at County Jail.

Bank Robbery, Burglary, Grand Theft: 300 Block of Sixth Avenue, April 20, 10:17 a.m.

The suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note stating: “This is a robbery, I have a gun I want all the 100s and 50s.” 

The teller handed over the money and the suspect fled the bank.

Investigators from the Robbery Unit viewed video footage of the incident and were able to identify the suspect and link him to another bank robbery.

The suspect was located, arrested and booked at County Jail.
