URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT — DON’T LET YOUR VEHICLE BE TOWED
NO PARKING ON 33RD AVENUE BETWEEN GEARY BOULEVARD AND CLEMENT STREET, APRIL 14-MAY 1
Please pay attention to the NO PARKING signs on 33rd Avenue between Geary Boulevard and Clement Street. Traffic Control Officers plan to begin enforcing NO PARKING Tuesday, April 14 at 7:30 a.m. The signs make clear that NO PARKING begins April 14 and continues through May 1, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Vehicular traffic on this section of 33rd Avenue is being diverted to the curb lanes in order to park Muni coaches along the center line. It is imperative that you heed the NO PARKING signage.
Sewer installation along Geary Boulevard between 32nd and 33rd avenues is necessitating these changes:
• 1-California bus will go south on 32nd Avenue from Clement Street. Instead of turning right on Geary, it will continue south to Anza and turn right.
• NO PARKING signs will be posted along both curbs of 33rd Avenue between Geary and Clement, for 250-ft. from the Geary crosswalk during project working hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). This will create a layover area for the trolley coach along the centerline of 33rd Avenue between Geary and Clement. Orange cones will delineate the area for the bus parking. There will be no parking along the curbs during project working hours (Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) as they will be used to carry the north and south vehicular traffic.
• Since no stopping will be permitted along Geary between 32nd and 33rd Avenues, there will a temporary bus stop for the 1-California bus on the northwest corner of 32nd Avenue at Geary. The 38=Geary bus will stop on Geary between 33rd and 34th avenues.
