As more and more San Franciscans abide by the shelter-in-place order decreed by Gov. Gavin Newsom, residents must adapt to these changes, not to mention, widespread economic hardships. It now appears that the City is empty of people, at the very least devoid of large gatherings. Yes, everyone is encouraged to stay home and only go out for the essentials, which can be summed up in three categories: work, grocery shopping and exercise. And while it’s imperative to stay safe inside your home, the unfortunate reality is that local businesses are suffering when daily life means being cooped up inside.
