Robbery with Knife: 800 Block of Clement Street, Aug. 31, 7:44 p.m.
The victim saw a known shoplifter in a store take multiple items and then walk toward the front door. When the victim attempted to prevent the suspect from exiting without paying, the suspect shoved him out of the way and fled.
The victim attempted to follow the suspect until she brandished a knife. The victim then returned to the store and called police.
Arriving officers located the suspect a short distance away.
The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
Hot Prowl Burglary, Outstanding Warrant, Resisting Arrest: 500 Block of 38th Avenue, Sept. 6, 7:03 p.m.
The victim was at home when he heard a loud bang near his door. He looked through his peephole and observed the suspect smashing his front door with a wooden pole.
The victim called police, then opened his door and told the suspect to drop his weapons and get down on the ground. The suspect then fled the building. The victim gave chase, updating dispatch during the pursuit. Units arrived and located the suspect and took him into custody after a struggle.
A records check revealed the suspect had an outstanding warrant so he was arrested and booked at County Jail.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle: 300 Block of 18th Avenue, Sept. 11, 3:44 a.m.
Officers observed two suspects standing between two vehicles and the officers stopped to investigate.
Suspect one said he was buying the vehicle from suspect two. A computer query of the vehicle revealed it was stolen out of Mill Valley.
Suspect one gave conflicting statements and officers determined he knew the vehicle was likely stolen. Suspect two gave a false name and conflicting statements regarding the vehicle.
Suspect one was arrested and booked at County Jail on the following charges: possession of stolen property and a probation violation.
Suspect two was arrested and booked at County Jail on the following charges: possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property and a narcotics offense.
Robbery with a Gun: Great Highway and Lincoln Way, Sept. 11, 9 p.m.
The victims were sitting in their car at the beach when two suspects approached the vehicle. Suspect one pointed a gun at the victims and stated, “Give me all your stuff, I’ll f___ shoot you!”
Suspect one then reached into the vehicle and grabbed a backpack from victim one’s lap. A brief struggle ensued and suspect two hit victim two in the head with the gun.
The suspects fled in an unknown direction.
The victims drove themselves to the hospital for their injuries and called police from the hospital.
Suspect one is described as a male, 20-30 years old, wearing a white shirt and black pants.
Suspect two is described as a male, 20-30 years old, wearing a black mask, black hoodie and black pants.
Both suspects are still outstanding.
Possession of Stolen Property, Unlawful Use of Pepper Spray, Robbery: 2600 Block of Geary Boulevard, Sept. 17, 7:36 p.m.
Three suspects exited a store with merchandise without paying. The victim confronted the group outside the store and was pepper sprayed by suspect one. Suspects two and three fled in an unknown direction. The victim followed suspect one as she fled east on Geary Boulevard.
Officers arrived and located suspect one, who was positively identified by the victim. Suspect one gave a false name and stated she was a juvenile.
At the Youth Guidance Center, suspect one admitted she lied and was actually 19 years old. She was arrested and booked at County Jail. Suspects two and three are still outstanding.
Robbery with a Gun: 3000 Block of California Street, Sept. 21, 7:04 p.m.
The victim was sitting in his vehicle with the door open when suspect one approached from the rear and pointed a gun at his chest. Suspect one demanded the victim’s bag, which was hanging over his shoulder. Suspect one and the victim briefly struggled over the bag, but when the strap gave way, suspect one obtained the bag.
Suspect one fled to a two-door silver Honda Civic, where suspect two was waiting in the driver’s seat. Suspect one is described as a male, 25-30 years old, wearing all black clothing. Suspect two is described as a male, 25-30 years old, wearing all black clothing.
Both suspects are still outstanding.
