The top men and women lawn bowlers in the country will compete at the 2019 Lawn Bowling National Championships, hosted by the San Francisco Lawn Bowling Club (SFLBC) in Golden Gate Park, later this month.

Founded in 1901, SFLBC is the oldest municipal lawn bowling club in the country. All competitions are free and open to the public for viewing at the club (Bowling Green Drive near Robin Williams Meadow and the Sharon Art Studio.)

Practice days are Sept. 21-22, and tournament play will be from Sept. 24-27. The Opening Ceremony is Monday, Sept. 23 at 4 p.m, followed by a ribbon-cutting and reception at the newly renovated clubhouse.
