Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, Driving Without a License, Two Outstanding Warrants: Middle Drive West and Transverse Drive, July 2, 6:19 p.m.

Officers responded to a call regarding several motorcyclists traveling in Golden Gate Park at high rates of speed and stunting.

Officers observed one suspect operating a dirt bike with no rear license plate, no headlights, no tail lights and it did not meet the requirements to operate on a highway.

When officers questioned the suspect, she gave a false name. A records check revealed the dirt bike to be stolen.

Later at Richmond Station the suspect was positively identified. A records check revealed she had two outstanding warrants.

The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.

Outstanding Warrant, Providing False Identification to a Peace Officer:  Great Highway and Balboa Street, July 4, 7:24 p.m.

Officers spotted a parked, occupied vehicle with paper plates. The driver of the vehicle gave a false name to police. A search of the vehicle located the driver’s identification. A records check revealed the driver had a no-bail California Department of Corrections felony warrant for a parole violation.

The vehicle was towed for having a registration that had been expired for more than six months.

The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.

Robbery with a Gun: Chain of Lakes Drive and Fulton Street, July 8, 10:21 p.m.

The victim was sitting in his vehicle when the suspect approached and pointed a gun at him. The suspect demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim refused and was punched in the face by the suspect. The victim then handed over his wallet and the suspect fled.

The suspect was wearing a black hoodie and a black mask. The suspect is still at large.

Outstanding Warrants: 3600 Block of Geary Boulevard, July 19, 11:50 a.m.

Officers responded to a shoplifting incident. The victim gave a description of the suspect and direction of travel. Officers located the suspect a short distance away.

A records check revealed the suspect had several outstanding warrants. 

The victim did not wish to pursue charges for the shoplifting but the suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail for the warrant.

Aggravated Assault, Theft from Locked Vehicle: 100 Block of 34th Avenue, July 9

The victim heard his car alarm go off and ran towards his vehicle. The victim saw two suspects and attempted to take their picture when he was struck by the suspects’ vehicle as they fled the scene.

The victim was transported to a hospital with a significant injury.

The two suspects were wearing gray hoodies. The vehicle is described as a silver four-door BMW. Both suspects and the vehicle are still outstanding.

Hot Prowl Burglary, Probation Violation: Unit Block of Ninth Avenue, July 19, 4:13 p.m.

The victim was in his residence when he heard someone open his back door. The victim saw the suspect and told him to get out, then called the police. The victim watched the suspect leave his yard and climb onto the second story of his neighbor’s house and attempt to open a window.

Officers arrived as the suspect was attempting the break in.

The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
