Forecast of Work Planned for August 26-September 6
Excavation of small exploratory holes to verify the locations of existing underground utilities is planned for August 26-30.
Sewer main replacement is planned for August 26-30 and September 3-6.
Two large manholes will be constructed as part of the sewer mainline work.
What to Expect:
Excavation requires jackhammering of the pavement. Dust control measures will be in place to prevent dust kick up from the work.
Location and Time of Work:
North side of Taraval Street between 46th and 45th avenues
Monday to Friday 7 a.m-5:00 p.m
No work on Labor Day: Sept. 2, 2019
Traffic Impacts:
Some parking will be temporarily restricted in construction zones and traffic lanes will be modified in the northbound lane during active work.
Muni Customer Impacts:
The following bus stops are planned to be temporarily relocated during construction work hours. Look for “Board Here” signs nearby:
From Aug.t 29 to September 26, inbound Muni 18 bus stop at 46th Avenue and Taraval will be relocated to 46th Avenue and Santiago.
From Aug. 29 to Sept. 19, inbound L-Owl bus stop at Taraval and 46th Avenue will be relocated to Taraval and 45th Avenue
