Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Carrying a Loaded Firearm, Using a Firearm in the Commission of a Felony, Attempted Homicide, Narcotics Violation: 28th Avenue and Geary Boulevard, June 6, 7:28 p.m.
The Victim was working on his car when the suspect rode by on a bicycle and fired several rounds striking the victim in the back of the head.
Witnesses heard the gunshots and saw the suspect riding away. The victim and witnesses were able to identify the suspect.
The was transported to hospital.
On June 11, Richmond officers located and arrested the suspect. The gun was also recovered.
The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail on the following charges:
Unlawful Taking of a Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Prohibited Weapon, Possession of Burglary Tools, Possession of Brass Knuckles, Multiple Vehicle Code Violations. Seventh Avenue and Hugo Street, June 7, 11:41 p.m.
Officers observed a vehicle parked in a red zone with no front plate. A records check revealed the rear plate and the vehicle to be stolen. The vehicle was occupied by the suspect who was taken into custody.
Exhibiting a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person, Terrorist Threats: 600 Block of 44th Avenue, June 17, 10:50 p.m.
The victim and the suspect got into a verbal argument regarding a delivery. The suspect returned to his car and the argument continued. The suspect then pointed what appeared to be a firearm at the victim.
Units arrived and located the suspect inside his vehicle. Officers removed the suspect from the vehicle and located a loaded firearm concealed in the suspect’s waistband in a holster.
A records check revealed the firearm was not registered to the suspect. The check also revealed the suspect was prohibited from possessing a firearm.
A search of the vehicle revealed an illegal expandable baton and a paintball gun.
The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
Possession of a Stolen Vehicle: 3800 Block of Geary Boulevard, June 17, 10:39 a.m.
Officers responded to a call regarding a stolen vehicle that was being tracked by the owner. Officers located the vehicle in a parking garage. The suspect was then located downstairs in the store and was in possession of the keys to the vehicle.
A records check revealed the suspect was on probation out of Alameda County for a similar offense.
The suspect was arrested and booked at County Jail.
