
On Saturday, May 4, 10 a.m.-2p.m. at the Richmond Rec. Center (251 18th Ave) will hold a Richmond Community Health Festival. The purpose of this free health festival is to encourage a healthy lifestyle and provide access to resources that help meet the health needs of our diverse community. Attendees can benefit from a variety of activities such as health screenings such as:
Blood Pressure
Hearing Testing
Pharmacy Consultation
Talk with a Doc
Health Education
Dental Screenings
Home Safety and Fall Prevention
Emergency & Disaster Preparedness Trainings
And more!
The event is co-hosted by Assemblymember Phil Ting, Supervisor Sandra Lee Fewer and our community partners, Kaiser Permanente, Richmond Area Multi-Services, Inc. (RAMS), Compassionate Community Care, Community Youth Center and Self-Help for the Elderly.
This event is free and open to the public.
