The event drew more than 200 attendees from across San Francisco and featured Russian, Chinese, Irish, and Ohlone performers, a resource fair with dozens of community partners and food from local restaurants that showcased diverse cuisines.
Also in attendance were Supervisor Sandra Lee Fewer and State Senator Scott Wiener. Fewer awarded certificates of honor to performers for their contributions to arts and culture in San Francisco, while Wiener honored the Lowell High School Red Cross Club, whose student volunteers helped run the event. The Immigrant Cultural Festival was made possible by a grant from the San Francisco Arts Commission.
