On Oct. 19, Playland at 43rd Avenue will be the site of a group show curated by local artist Georgia Hodges. The show, entitled “VOTE: An art exhibition about taking action,” is intended to spark, remind, motivate and inspire people to take action, both personally and within their communities

 The show includes 11 Outer Sunset artists who are currently, or have been, part of The Mud Room, a shared artist collective located across the street from Playland.

The show will run through Election Day, Nov. 6, with open hours on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
