Two Richmond District residents had a role in the creation of a new feature film being shown in September at the San Francisco Green Film Festival.

Jonathan White was the associate producer for “Happening: A Clean Energy Revolution,” a film that shows the development of clean energy and its effects on jobs, the communities where people live and its economic benefits.

Also working on “Happening” was local resident John Behrens, who was the cinematographer on the project.

“Happening” will be shown during the SF Green Film Festival at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts on Friday, Sept. 14, at 6 p.m. For more information, go to the website at http://www.greenfilmfest.org.
