 Robbery, Assault, Resisting Arrest, Conspiracy: Fulton Street and 16th Avenue, Aug. 19, 6:52 p.m.
The victim exited a Muni bus and saw two suspects get off the bus at the same time. The suspects approached the victim and demanded money and his jacket.

The victim refused and the suspects punched and kicked the victim and stole his cell phone.

Both suspects fled with the\ victim chasing after them.

A passerby called the police and attempted to stop one of the suspects. Police arrived and were able to detain one of the suspects, which the victim identified. The second suspect was not located.

The suspect was placed under arrest and booked at the Juvenile Justice Center on numerous charges. The second suspect is still outstanding.

Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, False Display of Registration: Sutter and Broderick Streets, Aug. 16, 9:27 p.m.
Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with a registration violation. A computer check revealed that the registration tag on the vehicle was fraudulent and that the driver had a suspended driver’s license.

An inventory search prior to the towing of the vehicle recovered an illegal collapsible baton in the driver’s compartment.

The suspect was arrested and booked.

Possession of Controlled Substance for Sale, Outstanding Warrant: Fulton Street and 31st Avenue, Aug. 12, 4:10 p.m.
Officers responded to a call about people smoking marijuana in a vehicle.

A records check of the suspect in the driver’s seat revealed he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a scale, baggies, assorted pills, white powder and large amounts of cash.

The suspect was arrested and booked.

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol while on DUI Probation and Causing Injury, Driving Across a Double Yellow Line, Driving at an Unsafe Speed: Fulton Street and 25th Avenue, Aug. 8, 10 p.m.
The victim was driving westbound on Fulton Street when the suspect suddenly veered across the double yellow line and entered the opposing lane of traffic, striking the victim’s vehicle head on.

Officers arrived at the scene and conducted field sobriety tests and determined the suspect was driving under the influence.

Further investigation revealed several open containers of alcohol in the vehicle and that the suspect was already on probation for a prior DUI.

The victim and the suspect were transported to a hospital due to injuries sustained in the collision. The suspect was placed under arrest and was booked at County Jail after being released from the hospital.

Shooting into a Dwelling: Clement Street and 18th Avenue, Aug. 3, 1:58 a.m.
The victim was in his apartment when he heard a loud bang and discovered a bullet hole in his window and shards of glass on the ground.

The victim called the police, who recovered a spent shell casing near the residence.

The suspect is unknown and the investigation is ongoing.

Robbery with a Gun: Bush and Divisadero Streets, July 31, 10:30 p.m.
The victim was walking down the street when two suspects wearing masks exited a vehicle and quickly approached. The suspects grabbed the victim’s backpack and a struggle ensued. One of the suspects then brandished a black handgun and demanded the backpack.

The victim, fearing for his life, relinquished the backpack and the suspects fled in a waiting get-away vehicle.

All suspects are outstanding and the investigation is ongoing.
