A 54-year-old man who was struck by a vehicle during the early morning hours of Aug. 4 died several weeks after the accident.

A dark-colored sedan struck Ronald Albanesius, at 1: 23 a.m., as he crossed Geary Boulevard at Second Avenue. The driver, who was traveling eastbound on Geary at the time of the collision, turned southbound on Arguello Boulevard and sped away.

Police are seeking information about the hit-and-run accident.
