 Cleo Jong (left) and her sister, Betty Choy, are a part of a mural that hangs at the Wells Fargo Bank branch at Irving Street and 24th Avenue. Wells Fargo honored the sisters at a
ceremony in the bank on Feb. 22 after Betty’s son, Anthony Choy, recognized the women from when they were members of the St. Mary’s Chinese Drum Corps in the early
’50s. The photograph below shows a close-up of the women when they were children wearing elaborate performance costumes. Photos: Michael Durand
