The Institute on Aging (IOA) will be holding its first Keep a Senior Warm for the Holidays
Drive!, collecting new and unused clothes and personal grooming goods through January
to help seniors stay warm this winter.
The institute is collecting beanies, scarves, sweat pants, sweatshirts, socks, warm
blankets, lotions, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste, mini flashlights, pens and
pads of paper, small gift cards and adult pull-ups and wipes.
Drop off donations in a bin located in the lobby of the Institute on Aging’s headquarters,
located at 3575 Geary Blvd. At the end of the drive, all collected items will be distributed
throughout the IOA’s client network.
