Assault, with Force:
16th Avenue and Irving Street, Oct. 29, 3:36 a.m.
Officers made contact with the victim at a hospital. He said he was out walking but was
upset so he yelled obscene words towards anyone near him.
At one point, a group of males approached and struck him multiple times, until he fell
to the ground. The suspects then walked away.
Robbery:
1400 Block of 19th Avenue, Oct. 28, 3:03 p.m.
A gas station attendant said the suspect was bothering customers at the gas pumps
before entering the store. Suddenly, the suspect grabbed the attendant’s
hand and tried to punch him.
The suspect exited the store but stole an item on the way out. The victim told the suspect
to return the item, but the suspect brandished a knife and threatened the victim before
fleeing the scene.
Robbery:
1600 Block of 24th Avenue, Oct. 18, 11:22 a.m.
The victim said she secured her home before going out to shop.
When the victim returned home, she was suddenly dragged into the house and thrown
onto the floor by three suspects, who attempted to take her purse while she struggled.
The victim reported that one suspect lifted her up and slammed her to the ground before
punching her several times in the eye. When the victim finally released her purse, the
suspects fled the area.
Arson:
2200 Block of 32nd Avenue, Oct. 18, 4:24 a.m.
A vehicle fire started to grow, consuming another vehicle and the front of a nearby
building, before it was extinguished by the SF Fire Department.
Assault with Pepper Spray:
19th and Ocean Avenues, Oct. 16, 10:14 p.m.
The victim was stopped at a stop sign when the driver in front of him exited the vehicle,
angrily approached the victim and screamed at him for having high beams on. The
suspect then pepper sprayed the victim before driving away.
