The SF Fire Department held a community safety fair on Sept. 20 at Fire Station 19,
Battalion 8, located at 390 Buckingham Way. The fair helped the local community
learn some valuable life-saving lessons and interact with local firefighters, emergency
medical technicians (EMT) and paramedics.

 Members of the Department of Emergency Management, Jana McCain, Naomi Fierro
and Elizabeth Bessman (top), informed the public about emergency preparedness and the
Alert SF program. As well, SF Fire Department EMT Christina Lardie (right)
demonstrated hands-only CPR to visitors of the community safety fair.
